Hey there,
I wanted to get to know you.
I don’t think we’ve ever done this before, so I thought it’s about time.
Let’s talk.
But first, allow me to set the mood.
Imagine we’re sitting at a cute, quaint little café.
It’s a little late in the evening.
So it’s dark enough that the fairy lights and lamps in the café shine aesthetically.
The place is decorated with pots of house plants here and there.
The walls are painted with many pastel-colours.
There’s quirky sayings on them, like: “A yawn is just a silent scream for coffee”. (I totally did not steal this from Pinterest.)
And a few pop-art picture frames hang all around.
There’s a bit of bustle, but it’s muffled. Loud enough that the ambience creates a lively atmosphere, but quiet enough so that we can immerse in our conversation without being distracted.
We’re sitting on a small, round, white-coloured table.
You’re drinking a beverage you love.
I’m sipping hot chocolate with whipped cream.
That’s the picture, now help me fill in the dialogues.
I’ll go first with a game called This or That (so original, right?):
Tea or coffee (or hot chocolate)?
Earphones or earpods?
Mountains or beaches?
Fiction or non-fiction?
Movies or books?
Pizza or burger?
Kenya or Dubai?
Walks or drives?
And no, you can’t say “bOTh”.
Now shoot your answers.
Love this newsletter!

You arrive at the airport and I'm holding a sign that says "World's best Imagery Writer/Red Pills & Doughnuts author".
We instantly make eye contact and I come running at you and hold my hand out. I don't want to scare you with my signature ramping rhino bear hug.
It's the first time we meet in person and I'm super excited to finally get to meet one of my best online friends in person!
I take your bags and we head to my car.
We head straight to the mountains and I tell ya that we're going backpacking!
(I have never backpacked in the mountains but I'd so go if you came to Canada).
But of course between we leave the city, i gotta order us 100 nuggets and you gotta load up on all your favourite bread and Subway.
We then get ready to continue our roadtrip to the mountains for our weekly long trip to the mountains and head up North to the territories to see Northern light.
While we drive up, we talk our random rambles and chat about the latest shows we're watching.
I'll ask the most random questions about what ya doing as a law student.

TA DA! You're turn!
